Ryedale Table Tennis League

New players welcome

 Home

If you are interested in playing table tennis in Ryedale then why not contact us? We can then put you in touch with a local club and tell you about places to practice and where you can join a team. The league currently has 12 clubs, many of whom are looking for new players, and caters for all standards from beginners to county level.

Matches take place on weekday evenings from October to March, and start between 7 and 7.30pm, and usually last between 2 and 3 hours. Teams consist of three players each playing three singles games, with one game of doubles at the end. We play best of five up to 11 points. You'll find details of our clubs and venues on the Teams page and more information about table tennis in Ryedale here

The league has been growing over the last five or six years and now has a number of teams which include younger players and juniors. We try to ensure that matches don't finish too late, although there is inevitably quite a lot of travelling involved in such a large county. The league is also mixed, with several lady players. We are very friendly - so why not come and join us?

Please contact match secretary Andy Seed, tel 01653 696704, email andy@cannybooks.com for more details or information.

Table tennis is fast, fun and good for fitness!
