The 2009 Presentation Dinner This season's RTTL Dinner and Presentation Evening took place on Saturday 23rd May 2009 at the Forest & Vale Hotel, Pickering. Musical entertainment was provided by Dec Huggate and a fine time was had by all present. A full list of award winners can be found below. Thanks to Andrew Chappell for these photos:
Div 1 winners Amotherby A frame a tidy view of Pickering's roundabout. That wad of cash that Tom Needham is holding should not be viewed with suspicion...
This was the only civilized table on the night
Div 1 runners up Ryedale A - note that the happiness on the left gradually fades towards the right
Stephen Temple's trophies await a truck
John Gascoyne swiftly takes back the Howard Wass trophy as Graham Slater crushes his hand
Div 2 runners up Amotherby B (Kenny Brown was later dropped for not wearing a tie)
Ray & Liz Chadwick laughed so much at winning the Div 3 Handicap League the the whole room shook (well, that's the photographer's excuse)
Mike Fenby wonders who put mashed potato in his trophy
Geoff Cawthorn was so thrilled to receive his tankard that he slept through the presentation
Andrew & Mary Chappell win the 'Best Dressed Couple' award for the 3rd year running
Mary is fascinated by Andy Grayson's air drum performance
...OK that's enough of the foolish captions - let's be sensible now:
